The Population Health Intelligence Unit (PHIU) would like to welcome you to our new website!
PHIU recently launched our new website, and while there isn’t a lot of information included yet we will add to it regularly as projects are completed and announced. While it will not be possible to share everything the Unit does here as some work is necessarily confidential, includes sensitive information or is part of a larger publication by one of our partner organisations, whenever possible we will share our datasets, reports and resources for wider use.
You can learn more about PHIU and the work we do by clicking here, and if you would like to request a copy of past work our commission something new you can contact us here. Please be aware we are a small team and any new commissions will be subject to staff availability.
Website Features
We chose DataPress as a website provider because they offer a variety of useful features, including a fully featured Data Library which enables us to upload our projects in a variety of formats without having to compromise detail or functionality for web compatibility.
The site includes the option for users to log in, which may in future grant access to additional pages and functions and enable us to distribute sensitive data to appropriate audiences without making it public. (We are not using this function yet, but will be in touch with colleagues and stakeholders when it becomes relevant.)
We also have capacity for dedicated pages or sections devoted to specific projects, including embedding Power BI dashboards when appropriate.
