NHS Fingertips is a large collection of public health data, presented as both themed profiles and trends.

These profiles provide collections of indicators covering a range of public health topics. They have been developed to show local area data alongside relevant comparators.

Health trends in England summarises key information about the health of people in England and changes over time. It is intended to provide an overview for the public in an accessible way.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) collects large amounts of statistical data about the UK population, society and economy which is made available through their website. Data is available for the whole UK but much of the data is available on a local level as well.

One of the major functions of the ONS is to carry out the official UK Census every 10 years. Data from past Censuses are made available on their website, providing historical snapshots of demographic data covering a wide range of topics.

Local Insight brings together comprehensive and regularly updated small-area data, to support informed community level decision making by local authorities and charities.
